Fixed match

Written By : Lalesh Kundan. I refer to Sandeep Nair’s letter (FS 12/8) suggesting that the Ba-Suva game was fixed.
I beg to differ. If the match was fixed, the Suva goalkeeper wouldn’t have lost his cool against an opponent. Or was it all part of the plan to make the game look ‘not-fixed!’
I watched the Ba vs Labasa game last Friday where both teams played superbly.
That said, I am surprised Ba didn’t beat Suva by a bigger margin.
As for Suva supporters cheering on Ba at the BOG final; why are they being questioned?Surely, one can “fix” supporters too, can’t one?
