West schools open from Monday

All schools in the Western Division will open next Monday.
This was confirmed yesterday by the Minister for Education, Filipe Bole.
Mr Bole said teachers in the division had been directed to conduct clean-up at their schools.
Western schools have been forced to close as the result of a devastating flood that hit the Western Division this week.
“I have advised parents to send their children to school from Monday next week,” he said.
Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Provincial Development and Natural Disaster Management, Lieutenant-Colonel Inia Seruiratu said schools remained closed and tourist areas continued to be largely unaffected.
