LICI backs netball

The 4th Pacific Netball Series was launched at the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee headquarters in Suva yesterday.
The series will now be known as the Life Insurance Corporation of India Pacific Netball Series which will be played at the Vodafone Arena on June 27-30.
Fiji Netball president, Wainikiti Bogidrau, acknowledged the support from LICI.
“LICI responded to our request and we thank them for their support,” Bogidrau said.
“And this will go a long way in terms of the enhancement of the sport in the country. We are very proud to be associated with LICI and this relationship will go a long way.”
LICI acting general manager, Sanjeev Jain, said LICI was lucky to be associated with such a tournament.
“We also want to thank Fiji Netball for allowing us to work with them and giving us the naming rights for the tournament. This has set a good platform for our relationship,” Jain said.
Fiji Netball will also work with Ministry of Women and Social Welfare to advocate for the ‘say no to violence against women and children’ campaign.
Bogidrau has also confirmed Fiji Water, Vodafone, Dee Cees Buses as other co-sponsors.
Admission will be $5 flat.
