YOUTH BAND FOR SOLS

Dickie Bird flew in with news that Roko Vatuwaqa-led Fiji National Youth Band is going to be representing the country to the Pacific Festival of Arts in Honiara next month.
Dickie Bird said financial constraints mean the country’s top band Rosi Loa and musical artist Jale Mareau will not be part of the Fijian contingent.
Mr Mareau – who is of Solomons descent – and Rosi Loa have a big following in the Happy Isles.
