With its bustling ring of cafes, bars and moored yachts under the hot Nadi sun, the vibrant and lively feel of Port Denarau proved a perfect backdrop for the latest shooting scene of Bollywood thriller ‘3G’.
Curious tourists and locals alike wandered around the film set, where lead actor Neil Nitin Mukesh worked his magic in front of the cameras.
The movie is the second to be recently shot on location at the scenic tourist port and is directed by Sheershak Anand and Shantanu Ray, with Sonal Chauhan as the female lead in the psychological horror thriller.
The crew is on a 40-day filming shoot that wraps up in the Western Division after beginning a hectic schedule in Pacific Harbour and parts of Suva last month.
Aside from the country’s scenic attributes, the quick succession of overseas films being shot on location in Fiji proves the country’s viability as a cheaper alternative to other exotic filming locations.
