Nestle Fiji has renewed sponsorship of the Milo Kaji Rugby tournament.
The deal to sponsor this year’s tournament was sealed yesterday between Nestle Fiji country manager, Jean-Michel Lejeune and Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer, Manasa Baravilala.
The tournament will see more than 2500 primary school boys competing in age divisions. Lejeune said the sponsorship of the event was in line with the goals of the company.
“Milo is all about living a healthy and active life and the association with Milo and Kaji Rugby tournament is a perfect fit for us,” Lejeune said.
“Last year we saw the biggest ever Kaji rugby tournament with teams representing every province in Fiji.
“The joy, excitement and determination of players was a delight to observe.”
Baravilala was pleased to welcome back Nestle Fiji as the major sponsor of the tournament.
“To have Nestle Fiji on board once again as our major sponsor is great news for the future of schoolboy rugby in this country,” Baravilala said.
Fiji Primary Schools Rugby Union official Josaia Sila said there would be 21 schools competing again this year.
