The Nigerian duo who played for Savusavu at the start of the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League have returned home.
Odafin Ezekiel Edawor and Solomon Opeyemi Olatade have left the country.
Savusavu Football acting president/treasurer Gopendra Narayan says the team looks forward to completing the league without the duo.
“It’s not a drawback for us. They are good players and played well with the boys,” Narayan said.
“But we also have some capable boys who will fill in for them in the weekend.”
Narayan said they were hoping to win the two games against Ba and Nadroga this weekend.
However; because of the adverse weather condition the Fiji Football Association has cancelled the three games this weekend.
The Savusavu and Ba game which was scheduled to be played today has been cancelled.
Savusavu is scheduled to play Nadroga at Ganilau Park tomorrow but this is also been cancelled.
