AOG ruggers impress

Assemblies of God High School Under-18 team upset Suva Grammar School 8-3 in round two of the Southern Zone Secondary Schools rugby competition on Saturday
Southern Zone rugby official Vilitati Togavou said teams had improved a lot in the second round.
“We are impressed with the performance of all the teams in the second round,” Togavou said.
“Teams like AOG, Nasinu Secondary, Laucala Bay Secondary played well in their respective grades.
In other matches, Marist Brothers Highl U15 side thrashed Latter Day Saints College 32-0 and SGS U16  defeated Dudley High 35-0.

Results: U14-SGS 17 DHS 7; U15-MBHS 32 LDS 0; U16- SGS 35 DHS 0, LBSS 10 Cathedral 3, Lami 5 LDS 3, MBHS default win over RSMS, DAV 6 AOG 0; U17-NSS 10 MBHS 7; U18- AOG 8 SGS 3.
