Ravindra Nath defended the Fiji Car Club drag racing title for the ninth year at the Taunovo Airstrip in Pacific Harbour yesterday.
Nath set a new record of 9.75 seconds erasing his old record of 10.30 which he set in 2008.
In second place was Ravind Nair who clocked 10.36 and third was Arvind Oautor with a time of 12.57.
There were 21 participants that competed this year compared to 30 last year.
