Netters focus on task

The National netball team and the Under-21 team will be hosted to a church service on Sunday.
And Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and Fiji Netball patron Mary Bainimarama will be in attendance.
Team manager Tanya Vatubua said the teams will receive the Prime Minister’s blessing ahead of the Pacific Netball Series which starts on June 27.
“It will be a very special church service for the girls, the senior team and the U21s,”she said.
“Playing at home is tough and they clearly understand the responsibilities they have on their shoulders.”
Vatubua is determined they are going to defend their title once again.
“We are all looking forward to the games and the focus now is to defend our title and nothing else,” she said.
“And the girls have all trained really well and are all fit for the occasion,
“We will be concentrating more on our court work in the final week of preparation.”
The official welcome cocktail reception will be held on June 26 while the first game between Samoa and Cook Islands will take place on June 27 at 5pm followed by Fiji and Papua New Guinea at 7.05pm at the Vodafone Arena.
