Sonaisali names its new sales, marketing head
Alana Tilly … Sales and marketing manager for Sonaisali Island and Tadrai Island resorts.

Sonaisali Island Resort yesterday announced the appointment of Alana Tilly as sales and marketing manager for it and its Tadrai Island Resort.
She joins the Sonaisali management team after working in similar roles in Australia.
Ms Tilly also brings Fijian heritage and experience.
She says she is excited to be based in Fiji having spent time here over the past six years working in Rotary International Projects. She travelled to various parts of the country on holidays.
The link is also through family. Her mother is originally from Fiji, so Ms Tilly is looking forward to continuing the connection with her heritage.
She is quoted in a statement on her appointment as saying: “It was an easy decision to accept this role as it was such a great opportunity to work in such a well recognised resort that has such a long history in Fiji.
“I look forward to using my experience and expertise to further the potential of Sonaisali Island Resort and help it to continue to be a highly sought after holiday destination.”
Sonaisali Island Resort is just south of Nadi off the Viti Levu coast. The associated Tadai Island Resort is on Mana island in the Mamanuca group off Nadi.
Ms Tilly’s previous role before moving to Fiji was as Business Development Manager for NobleDentist, a nation-wide dental plan in Australia.
While working for NobleDentist Ms Tilly led the company to produce triple figure sales growth year on year and grew the number of participating businesses throughout Australia from 120 to 500.
The Sonaisali statement said: “Alana didn’t hesitate accepting the sales & marketing manager position and brings to the team her extensive knowledge of business development and experience in a wide range of areas, in particular ecommerce and online marketing.
“Alana anticipates a prosperous future working in conjunction with the dynamic Management team at Sonaisali Island Resort.”
Sonaisali Island Resort’s managing mirector, Aaron McGrath, said:
“We are very excited to welcome Alana to our team at Sonaisali Island Resort. Not only will she bring a new and exciting focus on business development, but also be an innovative leader for the sales team.”
