Nadi’s newest subdivision held a recent Open Day for families looking to build or settle in a flood-free part of the tourist town.
Located in Legalega the area is adjacent to the Nadi International Airport and now home to 30 houses since its establishment in 2008 by Highbrook Holdings Limited.
Director Sajiwan Lal said it was the most complete of Nadi’s newest sub-divisions and Saturday’s Open Day was held to provide face-face discussions with potential buyers, with the presence of Westpac staff providing information on loans.
The area covers 27 acres of flood free land with 123 residential lots and three commercial plots. Of this number, 60 plots are left with 27 homes constructed by Neelfield.
“We have just started building homes and hope to expand. There has been a lot of interest from other organizations wanting us to build homes and buildings for them,” Mr Lal said.
“’We build quality homes, not house. Its peace of mind getting your home built,” he added.
Located in quiet surroundings while still close to convenient amenities, Mr Lal said Neelfield’s handy location and flood-free zone was an attractive package for buyers, an attribute that one resident can attest to.
Neelfield resident Ula Macomber said she moved to the area in January this year after the construction of her home late last year.
“It took two months for Neelfield to build our house from scratch, which was completed before the paperwork had even finished. This is actually a great place to live with safe roads for my four children to bike around on,”she said.
