We thank the Lautoka City Council for the beautification of the City and equal opportunities for women to work where it was a male dominated area.
We see that the work of the market master is now being done by ladies and I wonder if they should be called market teachers.
Furthermore, I have been reliably informed that the new employees are from the township of Ba.
I did a little check and found it to be true, does this mean that Lautoka City has no good people to fill the post.
I am rather saddened by the recent trend, but I’m sure the LCC has a reason for doing this.
