The Nadi rugby team is confident of achieving a better outcome against Tavua in their Digicel Cup match on Saturday.
The side will field a young team in the game at Prince Charles Park.
“It all comes down to getting it right from the starting whistle and playing it right,”Nadi Rugby secretary Noa neivalu said.
“We have a very young side and this is a must win game for us.”
The Sikeli Gavidi side will be banking on their young players in their quest to remain in the top eight in the Digicel competition.
After their training was disrupted because of flooding experienced in the Western division, the Jetsetters hope to start on a winning note.
“We’re predicting the game this weekend to be a very good game for us. The players know of the big task at hand, both teams will want to win and so we will have to put up a fight to get our spot in the top eight.”
Meanwhile, the second Digicel Cup match between Macuata and Nadroga has now been cancelled because of the unavailability of Subrail Park in Labasa.
Fiji Rugby Union media officer, Talei Mow confirmed to SUNsports that because of the ground being booked by the Fiji Football Association for their Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League, the anticipated match between Digicel Cup champions Nadroga and Macuata has been cancelled. FRU now will have to look for yet another date in which Nadroga will have to travel to Vanua Levu for the match.
This is the second time the match has had to be cancelled.
