Students of Latter Day Saints (LDS) Primary School celebrated Children’s Day and Careers Day yesterday.
The events which were attended by 22 speakers from various professions, included doctors, nurses, police officers and lawyers.
The day was intended to show pupils the range of careers they might pursue in the future.
Students marched around the school to start the day and provided entertainment to parents and guests before the visiting lawyers staged a mock trial.
LDS headteacher Vito Qaqa said it was important for children to start thinking about their career at an early age so that they could go into high school with a clear sense of what they needed to do to make it a reality.
