InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has appointed Charlotte Steele as the reservations manager.
With over 22 years of experience in the tourism industry, Ms Steele’s appointment to the award-winning InterContinental Fiji is set to be the pinnacle of her career. She is looking forward to enriching her expertise with the world renowned brand.
General manager, Scott Williams, in a statement said: “We are very excited to have a professional of Charlotte’s calibre joining our team.
“She brings a wealth of experience and will be integral in ensuring out reservations team continues to deliver the famous InterContinental experience to our guests.”
Resonating the values of InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Ms Steele recognises that a reservations team was the resort’s front line- delivering the first impression of guest experience and Fijian hospitality before they arrive.
“A reservation agent needs not only be knowledgeable about the product but be able to communicate the experience it offers emotively,” Ms Steele said.
“We are heard and not seen, but as they say, first impressions count!”
Ms Steele is known for her genuinely warm Fijian hospitality and values her role as a mentor to Fiji’s up and coming tourism industry next generation of professionals.
“I am looking forward to guiding and developing my team here at InterContinental Fiji,” Ms. Steele said.
“It’s up to us to ensure the industry is in good hands for years to come, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to share my knowledge with tomorrow’s leaders.”
