Labasa reps impress Levaci

Labasa defeated Navua 2-1 during the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League at Subrail Park, Labasa last night.
Labasa’s Melvin Reddy scored the first goal in the 16th minute.
However, Navua’s Peni Nabete equalised in the 30th minute.
In the 80th minute, Labasa’s Filipo Daugunu sealed the win.
Labasa coach Epeli Levaci was happy with the performance.
“They have improved compared to last week,”he said.
“All they need is someone to guide them and push them.”
He hopes the young boys will remain with the team as they have worked hard to get their team together.
“We need to keep them and look after them.”
Navua coach, Romulo Kaibau also fielded a young team.
“The boys need to develop their skills and play more games,” Kaibau said.
Navua will face Savusavu today at 4pm at Subrail Park, Labasa plays Nadi next week.
