Veiuto Blues and Nabua have confirmed their participation at the Rewa District School 7s tournament at Naililili on Saturday.
Event organiser Simione Sela said their presence is really going to boost to the tournament.
“We all know the quality of sevens rugby shown by the Nabua players and they have been doing this over the years,” Sela said.
“Veiuto Blues is made up of players from the Police team and they will be led by former Red Rock playmaker Peni Gaunimeke.”
He pointed out that the tournament has brought the whole of the Tebara alive.
Sela said, prominent teams like Red Rock, Digicel Seabreeze, Gone Toga, Veitacini and a young team from Cunningham called Tribe Fusion are also playing in the tournament.
He pointed out that Digicel Fiji 7s playmaker Metuisela Talebula would be conducting coaching clinic at Vutia District School on Thursday and Rewa District School on Friday.
“On Saturday, Talebula is going to put on his rugby boots and play for Veitacini along with his teammates from Natabua in Lautoka.”
Sela said 24 teams are playing in the one-day tournament and food would be also sold at the ground. He said the admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
