Air Pacific’s unscheduled maintenance required on one of its ATR-42 aircraft, has affected some Air Pacific and Pacific Sun flights scheduled for yesterday through to next Monday.
Air Pacific spokesperson, Shane Hussein, in a statement said, while domestic flights would operate with minor delays, the Suva-Tonga-Suva flight scheduled for this morning would be delayed by eight hours.
“The Suva-Funafuti flight scheduled for yesterday was withdrawn,” he said.
“Air Pacific will accommodate all passengers on the next scheduled flight and are working on supplementary services to Funafuti.”
Mr Hussein said the Air Pacific reservation teams were contacting all affected passengers advising them of the changes in the flight schedules.
“Passengers holding domestic tickets for travel through Sunday July 8, may also call Air Pacific reservations on 3304388 or 6720888 to re-confirm their flight times.”
