COME IN FUTUNA

Shops in our close neighbour Futuna are now virtually empty due to shipping problems.
Dickie Bird said the boat has been held up in Wallis, the other main island of this French Pacific territory just north of us.
It all raises again the possibility of closer business links with Fiji.
Futuna people have already been talking about seeing if Pacific Sun can fly direct from Fiji to Futuna.
New Caledonia’s Aircalin currently flies an A320 jet Noumea-Nadi-Wallis.
