Fiji promoted for investment in Aust

Fiji’s Consul General in Sydney, Australia, Losana Ravuso is actively promoting Fiji as an excellent investment destination for Australians.
Attending a New South Wales Business Chamber recent information sharing seminar at the Department of Tourism office, The Rock in Sydney, the Consul General made a comprehensive representation on investing in Fiji.
Ms Ravuso, according to a Government statement, described Fiji’s investment opportunities by sector.
She also spoke on investment trends in Fiji, investment procedures, investment policies and the way forward for Fiji.
About 100 people from close to 57 organisations in New South Wales attended.
The presentation generated a lot of enquiries and the office looking at referring this to relevant authorities in Fiji.
Meanwhile the Consul General has been participating also in pocket meetings around Sydney.
Ms Ravuso has been meeting with members of the Fijian diaspora who live in and around the Liverpool/Ryde/Meadowbank/ Parramatta area and Musswellbrook, Hunter Valley.
She has been encouraging them to invest in Fiji.
