The Western Zone Under-18 final was called off yesterday after a protest was lodged by Ba Provincial High School against Natabua High School.
Natabua High was supposed to meet Central College Lautoka in the main final. After the protest,  the West Zone committee ruled in favour of Ba Provincial.  But Natabua High lodged an appeal which forced the committee to delay the U18 final.
Match commisioner Sailosi Sorovaki told SUNsports that the protest was against a player who played for the Natabua U17 team in round one of the competition and in round two U18 grade.
“We respect both schools decisions and we are calling off the games till the final decision will be made next week,” Sorovaki said.
Meanwhile, in the U14 grade Natabua defeated Saint Thomas 27-0 and 31-15 in the U15 grade. Ratu Navula Secondary defeated Ba Provincial 22-10 in the U16 grade and Ratu Navula also defeated Ba Provincial 21-3 in the U17 grade.
