Suva, Labasa and Rewa should settle their differences before the first round of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament on Sunday at Subrail Park.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar says the districts need to sort this if Samuela Kautoga and Issa Sanni are to play for Suva.
Kautoga is seeking release from Labasa Football to join Suva while Issa Sanni has made a switch from Rewa to Suva.
Labasa Football is demanding $13,000 for Kautoga’s release while Rewa Football is demanding $6857 for Sanni’s release.
Kumar said the Fiji FA board of control (BOC) would make its decision next week.
“The three districts can solve disputes themselves,” Kumar said.
“The three districts need to sort it out before the first round on Sunday.
“We are urging the three districts to sit down and talk.”
Suva Football president Mahendra Prasad said they hoped the two top footballers to play for them.
“We will discuss with Labasa and Rewa, and hopefully things will be sorted out,” Prasad said.
“We hope to settle the matter on time to allow the two players to play for Suva.”
Meanwhile, more than 200 soccer players applied for their release in the Transfer Window.
The first round of Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants will be played at Subrail Park on Sunday with Suva against Nadi at 9am, Nadroga versus Ba at 11am, Lautoka-Navua at 1pm, and Rewa-Labasa at 3pm.
