Labasa takes free offer

By ANASILINI RATUVA

Labasa is the first district to take advantage of the free passage offered to all teams by Bligh Water Shipping.
Bligh Water Shipping’s finance manager Jamal Khan offered free tickets to all teams who will be going to play in Labasa this weekend.
This is worth more than $2500 per team.
Without wasting time, the Labasa Football Association management, with the assistance from its fan club members, quickly accepted the offer.
“We are glad to confirm that Labasa is first on board.
“They will come with us on Sunday to Suva after the games and return the following Monday from Lautoka” Khan said.
“Offer still remains open to any other team that wants another $2500 in the kitty.  These are very hard times and to raise this money in a short time is very difficult for the officials.  Our sponsorship should give them a relief.”
Labasa FA secretary Satishawar Chand says not many business organisations come up with this kind of sponsorship.
The fans only need to pay $40 one way to watch BOG this weekend and next weekend.
