Suva aims for big bonus win

The Suva rugby team will field in new and young players in today’s clash against Rewa in the last round of the Digicel Cup competition.
Suva team manager Samisoni Waqavatu says their aim to score a bonus win.
“We bank on our young players to score a bonus win,”Waqavatu said.
“Vesi Rarawa will be only experienced player in the team.”
Suva has already booked their semi final spot for next week and a win or lose against Rewa today will determine who they will match up with come next week Saturday.
Undefeated Tailevu tops the table with 49 points, Nadroga in second place with 42 points, Naitasiri third on 36 and Suva on 34 points.
Tailevu will host either Suva/Naitasiri and Nadroga will host either Suva/Naitasiri next week.
Waqavatu also stated that Suva is ready to battle either Tailevu or Nadroga.
“One of the main reason why we rested most of our senior players this week so that they could recover well for next week semifinal clash which most of us are looking forward to,” Waqavatu added.
Bottom of the table Rewa who sits with one point will now face the danger of promotion relegation against the B Division winner.
The B Division competition dates have yet to be confirmed by Fiji Rugby Union.
