I want to be like Talebula: Tuqiri

Nine-year-old Vilimone Tuqiri aims to be a playmaker for the Digicel Fiji 7s team and be a Flying Fijians in future.
The Suva Methodist Primary School student received the best Under-9 player during the 2012 Suva Kaji Rugby tournament and was also awarded by the school during the awards night.
“I’m very happy with this award,” Tuqiri said.
“I want to thank God for his guidance, I always pray a lot for God to help me.
“I also want to thank my parents and family for their support. They always come to the ground every Saturday to cheer for me.
The Vugalei, Tailevu lad plays at flyhalf and tagged Metuisela Talebula as his best player.
“I want to become Fiji’s future Metuisela Talebula,”he said.
“I enjoy watching him on television, I like the way he kicks and is always creative.
“I want to become a professional rugby player, represent Fiji in sevens and be like Talebula,” Tuqiri said.
The Class Four student’s favourite subject is English.
