Police tightlipped on Kadavu report

Police remain tightlipped on a news story last night about a plane crash in Kadavu that was reported by villagers on the island.
The story, placed on the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation website last night claimed a police team had been assembled to investigate the villagers claims that an object resembling an aircraft may have crash-landed near the island.
An officer who answered the phone at the Kadavu police post was unable to provide details and referred all queries to the police force public relations officer, Ana Naisoro who did not respond to Fiji Sun’s call to her mobile phone last night.
