Rugby League eliminations set

The stage is set for Vodafone Cup elimination finals this weekend.

Photo: NAVNEET NARAYANThis is after the Cup quarterfinal battles were drawn by Vodafone Fiji sponsorship manager Liga Gukisuva at the Fiji National Rugby League headquarters in Suva today.

The interesting clash will be the Police Sharks taking on unbeaten KBL Saru Dragons from Lautoka.

The other is the rematch of last year’s grand final when defending champions Dee Cees Nadera Panthers meet Namatakula Tigers from the Coral Coast.

Friday’s elimination matches: 10am Burenitu Cowboys v Vula True Blue Coastal Titans, 11.30am Nakauvadra Roosters v Nadi Eels, 1pm Ulusivani Warriors v Hot Bread Kitchen Nabua Broncos, 2.30pm Namuaniwaqa Sea Eagles v Sabeto Roosters. Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for children.

SUVA
Saturday’s elimination matches: West Tigers v Fair Trade Makoi Bulldogs, Police Sharks v KBL Saru Dragons, Namatakula Tigers v Dee Cees Nadera Panthers.
