A woman who had earlier admitted charges of causing death by dangerous driving and dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm has changed her plea at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court.
Vijenta Banda faces charges in relation to the death of acting director for social welfare, Lusiana Lala and her driver Marseu Mitchell.
Two passengers who were also involved in the accident are still recovering at the hospital.
Banda’s lawyer, Faiyaz Koya, applied for a vacation of plea before Magistrate Siromi Turaga.
The case has been adjourned to September 3.
