Court remands trespass accused

Two men have been remanded by the Nadi Magistrates Court after appearing in court charged with criminal trespass and criminal intimidation.

Neori Toganivalu and Sakiusa Koroi on September 9, of this year entered the Rendezvous Beach Resort located at Uciwai outside of Nadi, under the influence of liquor and threatened to burn the resort down.

The two accused appeared before Magistrate Mohammed Ajmer and were ordered to be remanded in custody.

The case has been adjourned to September 25.
