The Saaz Orchestra played to a packed Subrail Park in Labasa last weekend.
The concert was for a worthy cause with all proceeds going to assist schools in Vanua Levu.
This charity work was started by Yaadein Vision Australia, a non- profitable charitable organisation that has been assisting underprivileged children in Fiji since the 2000 coup.
Yaadein Vision director Bobby Singh Mishar said in 2000 they could only assist 24 students in 10 schools.
"In the past eight years Yaadein Vision has really come of age because of sheer dedication of ex Fiji citizens residing all over the world," said Mr Mishar.
"Yaadein Vision is now a global organisation with branches in Fiji, New Zealand, Canada, America and India."
Yaadein Vision Australia, which is the parent body, and its associate Yaadein Vision Fiji with the Ministry of Education has been tirelessly working to alleviate poverty and promote education amongst the poor and needy children of Fiji.
