Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services Dr James Fong said misinformation was affecting COVID-19 vaccine registration.
He made the statement at an information session hosted by the Ministry of Health for faith-based organisations at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva yesterday.
He said the ministry was struggling to get people to register for the vaccination rollout because of the amount of misinformation that continues to be spread.
